About Us
Ken Newman wanted to build a company that family, friends, and neighbors in Northeastern New Jersey could trust for all their heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services.
He wanted to help create healthy homes that were comfortable and efficient. He knew it was important to staff his company with friendly, knowledgeable workers who could help bring his vision to life.
Ken graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute in 1990, where he majored in HVAC. He joined the U.S. Navy shortly after, where he went to Boiler School under the Navy’s SAM 2 program. Ken served on the Fast Frigate Ship USS Ainsworth for two years and then served in the U.S. Naval Reserve for the remainder of his service.
Newman’s Heating & A/C opened its doors in 1998. We’re a small, family-owned company with big dreams to be the best HVAC company in New Jersey.
Our in-house capabilities include complete residential service for all brands, installation of new and replacement heating and cooling equipment, an array of plumbing services, and a full range of home comfort service programs and products. Commercially, we offer design, installation, electrical, piping, replacement equipment, and heat coil service repair.
Since its inception, the firm has steadily grown thanks to Ken’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. We have a full team of expert technicians, experienced supervisors, and thorough, dedicated office team members ready to handle whatever needs may arise. The office staff includes Ken’s wife, Dana, who is responsible for managing the office and support functions for the firm.
